Behind the Beats

City Lights Enterprises is a production company that promotes several different entities in the entertainment industry. John Reinhart, the founder was president of John Reinhart Productions which produced various Rock n Roll Revival shows in 1987 and 1988:

Solid Gold Supershow at The Nassau Coliseum featured Lesly Gore, Lou Christie, Johnny Maestro & The Brooklyn Bridge, Little Anthony, Drifters, Chimes, Duprees, Reparata & The Delrons, Lee Andres & The Hearts, Kenny Vance, Capris and more.

Solid Gold Supershow II at The Felt Forum featured Bobby Rydell, Little Anthony, Lesley Gore, Reparata & The Delrons, Regents, Band Of Gold, The Neighborhood and more.

Solid Gold At The Beacon Theater featured Skyliners, Cleftones, Marvelettes, Band Of Gold and more.
Solid Gold Supershow III at The Nassau Coliseum featured Righteous Brothers, Ben E. King, Del Shannon, Martha & The Vandellas, Regents and more.

All of the Solid Gold shows were hosted by Don K. Reed of WCBSFM101.

In 1998 John joined up with Millenium Promotions to produce The 80s Rock Explosion at The Continental Arena in New Jersey, The show featured Eddie Money, Rick Springfield, Jefferson Starship, Loverboy and Survivor. It was hosted by Fast Jimi Roberts of WPLJ.

In 2005,John partnered with Arregatta Enterprises to bring the RAIN – Beatles Tribute show to the east coast. The show also featured Billy J. Kramer and was hosted by the Most Brothers.

Between 1992 and now, John was involved with JR Productions & City Lights Enterprises which produced many cabaret shows, variety shows, murder-mystery comedy shows, karaoke events, DJ events, sock hops and community theater shows in the tri-state area.

Currently City Lights Enterprises is concentrating on the promotion of London Fogg (British Invasion/Woodstock Generation band), Main Street Cabaret (a singing group performing pop music from the 40s until now), MC Jay’s Music Express (DJ) & Superstar Karaoke.
